Pacific Gas and Electric recently started offering dynamic prices to a sub-set of customers in California. It is an interesting rate because the price we display includes a dynamic energy cost + a dynamic distribution cost (it does not include a dynamic transmission cost). But one big issue for prospective customers is that they obfuscate, which Circuit ID the customer is supposed to sign up for. They give a dropdown list of 98 nine digit Circuit ID numbers, with no explanation of what or where they are in California. So we went ahead and cross referenced the numbers to the names from this document:
